Everybody asks why is America so obese? Why D0 they over eat? Why D0N'T they care? Why are they so lazy to not lose fat?
Many people think they eat healthy. They say, "I get my vitamins in my food" or say, "I take my multi vitamin" but that doesn't qualify as healthy. Many foods have lost their vitamins, minerals and enzymes are cooked out in processing the food. As for vitamins try taking your current vitamins and putting them in a glass of white vinegar. Good quality should take less than an hour to dissolve. The best way to take vitamins is capsule, gel or liquid form when possible. Also, you want to take individual vitamins or vitamin combo's rather than a multiple vitamin because some vitamins optimize others while some deplete others.
People wonder why they can't lose weight, why they have poor health etc.... yet say they eat healthy, but what is healthy? Diet, junk and fast foods are ALL unhealthy because they contain preservatives and chemicals which are toxins. Diet foods contain aspartame among other things. Aspartame turns to formaldahyde in your system and can cause many health problems.
Junk food includes many prepared foods such as frozen, TV dinners and boxed. The back of the label will have a long list of words you can't pronounce. MSG (monosodium glutamate) is one of the worst. Junk foods and fast foods also contain chemicals that cause you to want more. Most potato chips are one of the worst. Remember the Lays Potato chips commerical? Betcha can't eat just one! That is because of the addictive chemicals in many junk and fast foods. You can take many foods that are loaded with chemicals and leave them sit for a year and they do not mold or get old. If they can stay that preserved for that long they are not digesting in your stomach properly. Another problem is that animals are feed chemicals and hormones that get passed on to us when we eat them.
To eat healthy it is best to eat whole foods as God made them and eat home cooked as much as possible. I found out that something as simple as throwing away your table salt and using sea salt (same taste) made a world of difference in my health. The healthiest foods are fresh fruits and vegetables that are colorful green, red, yellow and purple partly because they are high in anti oxidents which fight free radicals.
The number one thing people ask for help with their health is how to lose weight. People have a hard time losing weight because their system gets out of balance with toxins from unhealthy foods. They think if they don't eat they will lose but the body goes into fasting mode not knowing when you will eat again and stores the food. They think they can eat all the diet food they want because it is 'diet' when actually diet food puts weight on. They can not lose weight until they detox and balance their leptin hormones. To detox your digestive system buy a detox that contains milk thistle, burdock, clover, fenugreek, slippery elm, cascara sagrada and dandelion. For two to three weeks eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, yogurt, eggs, organic juices and water (not tap). By then you should feel less bloated and more energetic. You can add meat, cheese and healthy foods after that.
Most doctors give drugs that cause side effects and only mask the problem. They don't get to the root of the problem. Most diseases and illnesses are caused by toxins which cause inflammation which cause a weakened immune system which causes your health problem. Detoxing the system is the first step to health here too, but it is important to go to the doctors and get a diagnosis and see what his advise is. If he is totally against herbal supplements you may want to find another doctor that will work with you. Many herbs are safe to take with prescribed meds but some are not. For example, blood thinning coudimin can not be taken with any other blood thinning things such as vitamin K or any supplements that thin the blood.
Some things you want to do for preventative health, detox and start losing weight is
1. drink plenty of quality water first thing in the morning and thru the day. You can add a bit of fresh squeezed lemon, lime or orange for flavor
2. eat grapefruit or citrus fruits with most meals. *check if it can interfere with your meds.
3. keep your blood sugar balanced with 1 Tablespoon cinnamon a day and 200 mg chromium picolinate before meals, eat loads of green beans. *#3. If diabetic KEEP your blood sugar monitered.
4. Eat black cherries and strawberries to keep down uric acid that leads to gout.
5. Do not drink 1/2 hr before meals to an hour after meals liquids distrupt the digestive enzymes and cause you to gain weight.
6. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and sets the metabolism for digesting your food.
7. Throw away your table salt and use fine granule sea salt. Tastes the same but MUCH healthier.
8. Throw away your artifical sweeteners.

11. Eat plenty of fiber. Whole wheat and grain.
12. Remember diet foods and soda actually causes weight gain.
13. Cut out all junk food and fast foods. They do not break down in your system. Try burning a Twinkie or keeping junk food for a long time. They do not break down so think what they are doing to your digestion.
14. Use olive oil, grape seed oil, sesame oil or butter. When cooking with them do not brown, burn or smoke them. vegetable oils, canola oil and margarine are actually the bad fats.
FIRST step in optimizing vitamins
First of all D0 N0T take multi vitamins in tablet form unless they dissolve. To test your tablet, place in white vinegar, it should dissolve in less than an hour or it is not a good quality and you may only be getting 10% of the pill. The best way is take vitamins, minerals and herbs is capsule, gel, powder or liquid form.
Take your B vitamin, memory vitamins, and energizing vitamins in the morning.
Take vitamin C, E, zinc and antioxidents in the early afternoon. *after one month of zinc add 2 mg of copper unless copper level is high.
Take calcium, magnesium, D3, potassium and maganese at bedtime.
